Care that fits what you are actually facing

Every plan is built around the person in front of us. Below is what we offer, what each session costs, and how coverage usually works — all in plain language, with no surprises at the end.

Individual Counselling

One-to-one support for anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, addiction, and life transitions.

Individual counselling gives you a confidential space to understand what you are carrying and to build practical ways forward. Through collaboration, you will be supported to explore alternate options that promote resilience, confidence, and positive mental health. Sessions are paced to you — there is no script and no rush.

  • Anxiety, worry, and panic
  • Depression and low mood
  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress
  • Grief, loss, and major life change
  • Addiction and substance use
  • Self-esteem, identity, and burnout

Couples & Family Counselling

Rebuild communication, repair trust, and strengthen the emotional bonds that hold relationships together.

Couples and family counselling is beneficial for partners and families at every stage — those navigating conflict, those recovering from a rupture, and those who simply want to feel close again. Together we slow down the patterns that keep repeating and practise new ways of being heard.

  • Communication and conflict patterns
  • Trust, repair, and reconnection
  • Parenting and blended-family stress
  • Life-stage and role transitions
  • Separation and co-parenting support

Personal Development Coaching

A results-oriented partnership focused on the goals in front of you, not the story behind you.

Coaching is forward-looking work. Your coach helps you name what you actually want, identify the barriers in the way, and build an actionable strategy for personal or professional growth. It is well suited to leadership development, team building, career direction, and anyone ready to move from intention to follow-through.

  • Leadership and team building
  • Career direction and transitions
  • Goal setting and accountability
  • Confidence and personal growth

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

An evidence-based, eye-movement approach that can resolve distressing memories in a small number of sessions.

ART uses relaxing eye movements alongside a structured protocol to help the brain reprocess distressing images and memories. Many clients notice meaningful relief within a handful of sessions, and you are never required to describe the details of what happened out loud. Ask us whether ART is a good fit for you.

  • Often effective in a small number of sessions
  • You stay in control throughout
  • No requirement to recount details aloud
  • Helpful for trauma, phobias, and grief

Insurance & direct billing

Many health benefit plans cover counselling from a qualified psychologist. We direct bill most providers — Sunlife and some smaller insurers excepted. Coaching is not covered by insurance and cannot be direct billed.

Cancellations

We ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full session fee, as the time is held exclusively for you.

No referral needed

You do not need a doctor's referral to see a psychologist in Alberta. If your extended health plan requires one for reimbursement, check with your provider before booking.
